On one day in 30 cities across the United States, London, Madrid, Mexico City and Hong Kong, thousands of C-Suite and senior level executives and women seeking board positions will discuss and explore the benefits that gender diversity brings to corporate boardrooms.

The goal: to raise awareness and continue the momentum to achieve 20 percent or more of all corporate board seats to be held by women by the end of 2020. Since 2012, more than 6000 people have attended National Conversation events, with thousands more joining in on social media. In 2018, they will dramatically expand participation and visibility of the Conversation, in celebration of the campaign’s seventh anniversary.

2020 Women on Boards Mission

2020 Women on Boards will help raise the percentage of women who serve on corporate boards in the U.S. to 20% or greater by the year 2020. We are a grassroots campaign supported by individuals, organizations, and companies who embrace the principle that diversity in the boardroom encourages good corporate decisions.
